Bulgarian designer KIKO KOSTADINOV is back with a new collaboration with ASICS, dear community. This is not the first time the sports brand and the designer have come together. Back in 2024, we saw the ASICS NOVALIS GEL-TEREMOA appear in different colours. Now, in July 2024, they are introducing the GEL-FLAMMAE™️. This new design is inspired by two classic ASICS models: the GEL-WAHINE II and the GEL-NETBURNER IGS II. The ASICS x KIKO KOSTADINOV GEL-FLAMMAE™️ will drop on 19 July 2024.
The GEL-FLAMMAE™️ was co-designed by Laura and Deanna Fanning, the designers behind KOSTADINOV's womenswear line. The sneaker will first drop in two colours: Mako Blue and Gunmetal.
The upper has a black mesh base with synthetic panels, which feature a striking pattern that gives the trainer a futuristic look. In addition, the rubber sole extends over the toe for extra grip. Finally, we see a floral pattern on the outsole, the KIKO KOSTADINOV on one of the insoles and a distinctive ASICS logo on the heel.
