First look at the New Balance 2010

After an initial glimpse of the New Balance 2000 ABZORB, the brand continues to surprise with innovative designs. In recent years, the 530 has dominated the streets, followed by the successful releases of the 1906R and the 9060. Now that these models have secured their place, New Balance introduces an entirely new silhouette: the New Balance 2010.

Although the New Balance 2010 is a completely new model, the influences of the 990 series are immediately apparent. The combination of suede overlays and synthetic underlays gives the sneaker its signature layered look. The front, in particular, is reminiscent of the 990v6, but unique details - such as the sleekly shaped mesh and the playful, angular mudguard near the toe - set this model apart.

After the initial teasers, we now get a clearer look at the sneaker - and it does not disappoint. The first design appears in an autumnal mix of brown and gray, featuring a blend of mesh, suede, and synthetic materials. The iconic ‘N’ logo adorns the side, while the tongue is finished with the classic ‘NB’ branding. The sole, executed in gray and green, incorporates ABZORB foam for added comfort.
