When Teddy Santis became the head of the MADE in USA line at New Balance, many fans got excited. Santis had previously worked with the sports brand and his own brand, Aimé Leon Dore. His new career took off well and he immediately released a bunch of new kicks, including the New Balance 990v3 'Raw Amethyst' (GC990TD3).
The 990v3 is made of mesh and suede. The mesh covers the base of the upper and is in a dark blue colour. The overlays over the toebox and under the collar are suede in grey. Over the rest of the upper are large purple overlays, also made of suede. To give the sneaker even more colour, there are orange accents around the shoe.
These shoes are also available in baby, child and adult sizes.
