Not long ago, Lionel Messi joined forces with Bad Bunny and adidas, which in my opinion is one of the most unique collaborations of this year, 2024. It has been an eventful year for the Inter Miami footballer and the brand with The Three Stripes anyway, with several Samba colorways released earlier in 2024. Now they are focusing on 2025, where a new, clean colorway of the sneaker will be released.
Previous releases focused on the things that characterise Messi. We saw the light Argentinian blue, the bright pink of Inter Miami and even gold accents that highlighted his winning mentality.
However, this new colorway is much cleaner and more minimalist than previous designs. The upper is made of premium cream-coloured leather. Light brown nubuck accents on the heel and toe cap give the design subtle detail and depth.
As with previous releases, we see Messi's personal touch. The signature ‘M’ adorns the tongue, and his name in gold on the side replaces the usual Samba branding.
