Lionel Messi x adidas Samba 'Argentina'

Lionel Messi led Argentina to victory at the 2022 World Cup, and that was just the tip of the iceberg of his successful career. The world-famous footballer is currently with the Inter Miami team, where he led them to their first League Cup victory. In 2023, adidas came up with the Inter Miami x adidas Spezial, inspired by the excitement surrounding Messi's debut season with the club. Building on this buzz, the brand now comes out a year later with two adidas Samba colorways inspired by the footballer.

The first pair has a white leather base with grey suede mudguards, which are characteristic of the adidas Samba silhouette. The tongue, lining and famous Three Stripes are blue. Gold accents shine on the heel, and 'MESSI' is written in gold above the Three Stripes. The embossed logo on the heel and tongue pays homage to the famous Argentinian.

For the second pair, they opted for a more subdued look with the same base. In addition, the design has a gum sole and purple accents can be seen on the Three Stripes and heel. The 'MESSI' branding has been replaced with the familiar 'SAMBA' text. Finally, Messi's logo on the tongue stands out in neon green.
