A very special release is coming our way. None other than Woody, the main character from Pixar's Toy Story film series, will receive his own sneaker release inspired by his outfit. The sneaker is set to launch ahead of Toy Story 5, which will be released in theaters in 2026.
Although the Samba has already passed its peak moment, it seems that adidas is bringing the sneaker back in 2025, this time with a unique look. Recently, the first images of a Toy Story-inspired colorway were revealed. The sneaker pays tribute to the outfit of the main character, Woody, voiced by Tom Hanks.
The film series tells the story of Andy's toys, which appear when he looks away. Cowboy Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Mr. Potato Head are among Andy's favorites. In celebration of the launch of the fifth film in the series, adidas will release the Samba, which, even without the Pixar reference, has a clean look.
The colorway features brown leather and denim overlays. The collar has a checkered pattern that hints at Woody's shirt. The heel element is covered in soft cowhide print. On the tongue, you'll find the Disney logo and a graphic of Woody's face.
The exact release date for the adidas Samba 'Woody' is not yet known, but we can likely expect the pair to drop in 2025, just in time for the release of the next film.
