Nike and Patta return this month, August 2022, with 'The Next Wave'. The two brands released their first Air Max 1 with a wavy mudguard in the summer of 2021. The 'Monarch' colorway was very popular, as were the 'Noise Aqua', 'Black' and 'Rush Maroon' colour schemes that came out later.
The special sneaker series has not ended yet, as the latest colorways will be released in August in the same theme. 'The Next Wave' is inspired by the African saying 'Each One, Teach One' and Patta's vision to create a connected and prosperous Patta community around the world.
The extension's first colorway, 'Dark Russet', is most similar to last year's 'Rush Maroon' colorway. The upper is made of leather and has been given an orange colour. The iconic wavy mudguard is also not missing on the new colorway. The base of the shoe is made of mesh and has a light grey hue.
Another colorway, which is also part of the extension, is in white. The grey mesh base remains, but the leather overlays and mudguard have been given a white colour. The Swoosh is slightly more grey. We expect the release this white colorway later this month.
On Friday, August 12th, 2022 at 1:00 pm the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Dark Russet' - The Next Wave will be released via the Patta website. The clothing collection will also be available through that website. Check out the images below and check our newspage for further sneaker related content.
