In collaboration with Flight Club and GOAT, Ducks of a Feather—a program by the University of Oregon—unveils three colorways of the Nike Air Max 95/97. The sneaker will drop in the 'Lightning', 'Thunder', and 'Storm' colorways, combining the upper of the Air Max 97 with the sole of the Air Max 95.

Division Street, the marketing program of the University of Oregon—the school where Nike founder Phil Knight was trained by Bill Bowerman—introduces three new Air Max 95/97 hybrid colorways. The release is organized through Ducks of a Feather, a university initiative, and consists of three region-exclusive colorways.

As the name suggests, the Air Max 95/97 is a hybrid of Nike's iconic silhouettes: the Air Max 97 and the Air Max 95. In the past, Nike has often revealed hybrid silhouettes, such as the Air Max 1/97 by Sean Wotherspoon, but there is something about the Air Max 95/97 that works particularly well.
Colorways
The first colorway, 'Lightning', will be exclusively available in the Asia-Pacific region. The sneaker features a reflective silver and rainbow-colored upper with glow-in-the-dark Air units in the sole. Raffles for the release will open on March 15, 2025, and the sneaker will drop on March 21, 2025, at Flight Club Tokyo.

The 'Thunder' colorway will be available in Europe. The sneaker features a striking design with green and gold reflective overlays. This variant will drop on March 21, 2025, and will be exclusively available for purchase via GOAT.
Finally, there is the 'Storm' variant, which combines gold with green-gold accents. The release will take place on March 22, 2025, and will be available exclusively in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. On March 26, 2025, Air Max Day, the sneaker will drop globally via GOAT.
The Nike Air Max 95/97 is a hybrid silhouette specially designed for Air Max Day in collaboration with Ducks of a Feather, GOAT, and Flight Club.
The hybrid silhouette will appear in three colorways: 'Lightning,' 'Storm', and 'Thunder', each of which will be available in a different region.
