Official images Nike Air Max 1 'Design By Japan'
The Nike Air Max 1 'Design By Japan' was designed by Eric Goto in collaboration with Japanese SNKRS members for Air Max Day 2023. In mid-2022, we could get a first look at the first images of this collaboration. Now in January 2023, Nike comes out with the official images of the Nike Air Max 1 'Design By Japan'.
The design is inspired by the Nike Sting, a running shoe from 1970. This is mainly reflected in the vintage aesthetic with old-school white mesh, tumbled green leather overlays and orange heels. In addition, the design has been given a foam tongue, cream-coloured laces and tinted midsoles.
Finally, the Air Max 1 is finished off with a classic gum rubber outsole, a special gold pendant, retro tongue branding and special graphic insoles. The pair is expected to drop in 2023, for an exact date you can keep an eye on our release calendar!
