Update March 4, 2025 - The month of March is all about the Nike Air Max. In 1987, the Nike Air Max 1 was introduced that in the following years, the iconic silhouette received several variants in the Air Max series. Every year, the impact of the Air Max is celebrated during Air Max Month. In 2025, the focus is on the Air Max Dn8.
The Air Max Dn8 builds on the Dynamic Air (DN) technology introduced in 2024. The silhouette has a modern look and uses multiple Air units in the sole that provide cushioning and comfort. The sneaker made its debut in February 2025 in a 'Hyper Pink' colorway.
On 6 March 2025, we can add as many as 10 new colorways to that. The shoe will appear in a variety of variants: from the understated ‘Sail’ colorway to eccentric ones like the ‘University Red’ and ‘Metallic Silver’.

Nike gives the Air Max DN an upgrade and comes up with the DN8
Original Post November 12, 2024 – In 2024, we saw the launch of the Air Max DN, a sneaker featuring innovative sole technology. Less than a year later, its successor has arrived: the Air Max DN8, now featuring extra Air units in the sole for a fresh new look.
In October, the first images of the Nike Air Max DN8 silhouette surfaced, worn by Javel Berlin, a creative responsible for Corteiz's marketing. Now, in November 2024, official retail images of a second colorway have been released, giving us a preview of what Air Max Month 2025 has in store.
The Air Max DN8 builds on Nike’s latest DN technology, which utilizes Dynamic Air. The upcoming silhouette retains the Dynamic Air tubes in the heel but adds four extra tubes in the forefoot. With eight tubes—hence the name DN8—the air can move freely, providing improved cushioning and comfort.
The design stands out with a red base, combined with a black sole and toebox. The upper also features the signature ‘tidal wave’ motif, which complements the Air bubbles in the sole—reminiscent of the Air Max 96, which used a similar pattern.
