Original post February 18, 2025 - Less than two days after the reveal of the Nike Air Max 1 .SWOOSH 'Big Head Origins', another .SWOOSH release is making its debut. The next colorway seems to be inspired by the game character Lara Croft from the 90s video game Tomb Raider. It's not yet known when the sneaker will drop.
For those who are tired of the standard Air Max 1, which seems unlikely, there are the .SWOOSH releases from Nike. .SWOOSH was launched in 2023 as an online platform bridging the gap between sneakers and the digital world. After the first physical release in 2024, we are now seeing two new variants.
The first was released earlier this week—the Nike Air Max 1 'Big Head Origins', inspired by the Nintendo character Donkey Kong. The next in the series is the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Max 1 Low Poly 'Adventure', which uses colors typical of Lara Croft’s outfit.
Tomb Raider was a video game introduced in the late '90s. It was later adapted into multiple films, with Angelina Jolie portraying the character. The sneaker features a white and turquoise colorway, identical to the colors of Croft's outfit in the game.
