Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002 Mule 'Angora'

Chicago-based artist Bryant Giles works with New Balance on the 2002R model in the form of a slip-on sneaker. The ‘Angora’ (M2002RM1) has a whited-out canvas upper that portrays Giles’ signature screen-printed embroidered-look illustrations alongside suede and mesh materials. You can see why he named this sneaker the ‘Artist’s Shoe’. 

An interesting touch is the velcro “N” logos on the side, which can be taken on and off. The sneaker utilises an N-ergy unit and ABZORB cushioning in the midsole for comfort and stability, and the rubber outsole combined with the laceless slide design means the shoe is perfect for easy on-off wear. 

The artist also released the 2002R ‘Olive Green’ with New Balance.
