New Balance 2002

Why Choose the New Balance 2002

Andrew Nyssen designed the New Balance 2002 in 2010, the successor to the New Balance 2001, and it's made in the United States by New Balance. The model returned in 2020 with a new design 10 years after the original was released.
New Balance's Japanese division's creative director, Tetsuya Shono, replaced the original sole with the N-ERGY sole in 2020. During physical activities, the N-ERGY sole provides enhanced comfort and shock absorption. This sole combines foam and proprietary compounds to relieve stress on the feet and joints, making it more comfortable and supportive.
With the 2002's quality improving so much, the sneaker became both more costly and popular. Known for its chunky design, the New Balance 2002 entered the market at the height of the 'Dad Shoe' trend.
