ASICS and NAKED CPH release vegan GEL-1130
ASICS and NAKED Copenhagen come together for a fourth time, this time the duo has collaborated on a sustainable GEL-1130. With this shoe, they want to break the notion that vegan-friendly products are worse in quality than animal products. The ASICS x NAKED Copenhagen GEL-1130 will be released on August 11th, 2022 at 10.00 am via NAKED's website.
The collab has designed a shoe made largely from recycled materials. From the mesh on the upper to the faux leather overlays, even the laces are recycled. The pair features the colours white, sage green and silver. The white colour can be seen on base, topped with overlays of silver and sage green.
The upper rests on a GEL midsole with a TRUSSTIC™ torsion arch in the centre, allowing the shoe to offer optimal comfort. Finally, the sneakers come in a recycled box, which completes the idea behind the shoe.
