Although we are now officially in fall, ASICS seems to want to hold onto summer for a while longer with two upcoming releases. On Sept. 26, 2024, ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 'Bakedpink' and GEL-1130 'Baby Lavender' are expected to arrive at ASICS, two bright sneakers designed specifically for the ladies.
The year 2024 is all about the Y2K trend that pays tribute to style anno 2000. This trend includes cropped tops, wide jeans, silver details, and sporty sneakers á la ASICS. The Japanese sneaker brand's next releases are especially for the ladies.
The WMNS exclusive pack comes with two models: the GEL-Kayano 14 and GEL-1130. The ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 in the colorway 'Bakedpink' has an upper of mesh that uses an ombre effect. The toecap has an orange-pink hue and flows into a light blue at the heel. Silver overlays give the sneaker strength and add to the Y2K aesthetic.
The other sneaker in the pack is the GEL-1130 'Baby Lavender' which use the colors pink and purple. Unlike the GEL-Kayano 14, the GEL system in this sneaker is more hidden but does offer the same comfort.
Both sneakers will most likely drop on September 26, 2024, at ASICS and select retailers. Check out images of the pack below and don't miss this release.
