On 25 August 2023, Nike drops the new women's model, the Nike V2K Run 'Summit White'. Taking its inspiration from the Y2K era, this sneaker combines various elements of previous lifestyle running shoes into its design. The result is a unique silhouette that offers both a nod to the past and contemporary style.

Upon first glance at the model, one immediately notices the similarity to the popular Nike Zoom Vomero +5. The upper consists of white breathable mesh, with silver panels above it hugging the sides, exactly like the Zoom Vomero.
But the sole differs considerably from the Vomero, giving the silhouette its own character. It is split into two parts, separated by a fin-shaped mould in the middle, while the heel area gets extra support from a thicker foam piece. The design is finished off with a 3D-like Swoosh.
