Bad Bunny and Lionel Messi have teamed up for a special collaboration with adidas, dear community. It's no secret that Bad Bunny is a big fan of Messi. He has often mentioned the name of the Argentinian football legend in his songs. But, let us be honest, who isn't a fan of the GOAT? Together, the three names have now put their stamp on the adidas Gazelle Indoor, which is due to be launched in October 2024. We think: This sneaker combines the worlds of music and football in a unique way.
This is not the first time that Bad Bunny has released its own version of the adidas Gazelle Indoor. Previously, there were already the 'White' and 'San Juan' editions. The new design is a nod to the San Juan, with the eye-catching blue accents on the tongue, insoles and side.
Nevertheless, there are many differences to previous designs. The most striking is the upper, which departs from the usual suede and now has a high-quality leather finish. In our opinion, one of the standout details of this design is also the switch from the usual heel plate to durable leather strips. This subtle design change adds a sense of elevated craftsmanship and makes the shoe feel even more premium.
What makes this collaboration so special are the names ‘Benito’ and ‘Leo’, which are printed in red on the Three Stripes. This emphasises the bond between the two world stars and gives the shoe a personal touch.
In addition to the Gazelle Indoor for lifestyle, football fans will also get their money's worth. Because an adidas F50 football boot is also part of the collection. We are excited to see how it will perform on the pitch, because it looks at least as stylish as the Gazelle.
