Bad Bunny and adidas just keep surprising us with new collaborations. After the massive success of his album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos that dropped in early January 2025 and shot straight to the top of the Billboard 200, the Puerto Rican superstar is back with something fresh: the Bad Bunny x adidas Ballerina. This sneaker drops in two colorways and takes inspiration from a classic adidas design.
The Ballerina is based on the adidas Taekwondo, a silhouette from 2019. But Bad Bunny’s put his own twist on it, making some pretty noticeable changes. The shoe features a textile upper with suede overlays on the toe and heel. The Three Stripes are crafted from leather, giving the sneaker that premium feel.
What stands out is the 'benito' branding next to the stripes. The size label on the heel also makes a return, a detail we saw before on the Bad Bunny x adidas Gazelle Indoor. And lastly, you’ll spot ‘adidas para bad bunny’ on the sole, really highlighting the collaboration.
There are two colorways: 'Off White' with black and gold accents, and 'Core Black', which is completely black with off-white details on the stripes and heel. Both options feature a segmented rubber outsole for extra grip.
Bad Bunny’s added a lock-lacing system and striking blue stitching on the tongue, a detail we often see in his designs.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Ballerina is expected to drop in spring 2025. The colorways are set to release on 1st April 2025 through adidas and selected retailers. If these sneakers are received as well as his new album, they’ll undoubtedly fly off the shelves in no time!
