The Air Structure Triax 91 is going to make a comeback in the first quarter of 2021. A handful of colorways are going to be released for the retro sneaker and one of them is the original Neo Teal and Infrared colorway. The Triax 91 is the first sneaker in Nike's Structure series. This series is designed to provide stability for runners who are over-pronating. This means that a runner's foot tilts excessively at times when it should not. The sneaker quickly became popular because of the two colours that were used on the upper, which was very rare at the time. Even the Air Unit was different on the outside than on the inside of the shoe.
As the name suggests, the sneaker was released in 1991 and got a re-release in 2007. This release was not well received, because the toebox of the shoe was very weak and therefore crumpled. In 2009, a lifestyle basketball sneaker was released called the Air Hoop Structure. This was a remake of the original Air Structure.

The emerging Air Structure Triax 91 is a 1:1 retro of the 1991 release. The outside of the sneaker has been given the 'Neo Teal' colour, while the inside has the 'Infrared' colour. This 'Infrared' colour is also used for the Nike Air logo on the heel.
The shoe itself is constructed of white mesh with black and grey suede overlays. The tongue features the Nike logo in the 'Neo Teal' colour with the text "Air Structure" underneath. The Swoosh is only found on the outside and is left out on the inside of the sneaker. Looking at the midsole, we see that it is grey and white. The 'Neo Teal' colour returns around the Air Unit while the 'Infrared' colour is around the inside of the Air Unit.
