The long awaited Nike Air Max 1 'Field Purple' is now available at Nike and different retailers, dear community! Over a week before Air May Day 2024 (March 26), we saw the first images of this colorway, a look suspiciously reminiscent of a Patta x Nike collab from 2009.
We are of course talking about the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Purple Denim' that celebrated Patta's 5-year anniversary in 2009. The sneaker arrived in a white upper, with gray and purple denim overlays. The 'Field Purple' may not use denim, but it does use the same shade of purple on the Swoosh and overlays.
The Air Max 1 has a sporty silhouette in general. The 'Field Purple' design features purple elements as the name suggest. The Air unit in the midsole is purple so it matches well with the overlays. The upper is made of breathable mesh and suede overlays give the sneaker firmness and stability. Classic Nike branding is placed on the tongue, heel and center panel.
