A combination that no one saw coming: Acne Studios and Kappa. Acne Studios has just revealed the first images of a new collaboration, featuring a football jersey in the colors of Acne's previous jersey, which went viral last fall.
Football is playing an increasingly prominent role in today's fashion scene. From silhouettes like the Nike Total 90 to jerseys from brands such as adidas, Nike, and even UMBRO. One brand that must not be overlooked is Kappa. The Italian label, known for its iconic logo with two seated figures, was founded in 1978 and now seems to be making its entry into the world of high-end fashion.
From UMBRO, which collaborated with Balenciaga, to Kappa, joining forces with Acne Studios – football is avant-garde. Although not much is known yet about the collaboration between the two brands, we can most likely expect jerseys.
The teaser already showed a glimpse of a pink T-shirt, and the trailer also features images of what appears to be pink and black jackets. What exactly we can expect (and at what prices) is still unknown. However, Acne Studios has announced that the collection will be released on March 27, 2025.
