In 2025, Jordan Brand is bringing back the ‘Rare Air’ pack, and now we can take a first look at the Air Jordan 1 High OG in a ‘Cinnabar’ colorway. First released in the early 2000s, the ‘Rare Air’ pack was known for its innovative approach to classic designs. The series emphasised striking design cues and exclusivity, something that is now coming to the fore again with the return of the Air Jordan 1 in a ‘Cinnabar’ colorway.
Previously, we saw the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4 appear as part of the pack. Now we can get a first look at the Air Jordan 1 ‘Cinnabar’. The sneaker combines premium leather with a sophisticated colour mix of Sail, Light Bone and Cinnabar.
The base of the upper colours white, making the Cinnabar accents stand out more. This colour can be found on the Swoosh, the outsole and also on the Wings logo. Even the laces contain a gradient of red, making the design even more unique.
Another eye-catching detail is the blue label on the tongue, which adds a fresh touch to the design. The Sail midsole rounds it all off and provides a neat, cohesive look.
Last thing that makes this release even more special is the attention to detail that is characteristic of the ‘Rare Air’ pack. The AJ 1 High OG ‘Cinnabar’ comes with the updated ‘Nike Air’ branding on the medial side, which is a subtle reference to the brand's heritage.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air ‘Cinnabar’ is expected to start dropping in April 2025 in women's sizes at Nike and selected retailers.
