The Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air ‘Cinnabar’ is set to drop in 2025

Update March 20, 2025 – The 'Rare Air' series from Jordan Brand is bringing two new editions of the Air Jordan 1 High OG in 2025: the 'Cinnabar' and 'Deep Royal Blue.' Earlier, the first images of these colorways surfaced, and now we can see the official photos on Nike.

The Jordan 'Rare Air' pack in 2025 will feature four sneakers: two colorways of the Air Jordan 1 High, an Air Jordan 3, and an Air Jordan 4. The name 'Rare Air' hints at the sneakers' logos, which slightly differ from the usual Jordan branding. This is also the case with the 'Cinnabar' and 'Deep Royal Blue' releases.

The Air Jordan 1 High 'Cinnabar' features a subtle colorway with suede details, two-tone laces, and Wings logos on both sides of the collar. The iconic Air Jordan Wings logo is placed on the outer side, while 'Nike Air' is featured on the inner side.

The 'Deep Royal Blue' colorway takes a more understated approach, showcasing a Nike Air version of the logo on the collar. For this release, the 'Rare Air' branding is placed on the insole.

The release is scheduled for April 5, 2025, via Nike SNKRS and selected retailers. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air ‘Cinnabar’ is set to drop in 2025

Original pos:t November 8, 2025 - In 2025, Jordan Brand is bringing back the ‘Rare Air’ pack, and now we can take a first look at the Air Jordan 1 High OG in a ‘Cinnabar’ colorway. First released in the early 2000s, the ‘Rare Air’ pack was known for its innovative approach to classic designs. The series emphasised striking design cues and exclusivity, something that is now coming to the fore again with the return of the Air Jordan 1 in a ‘Cinnabar’ colorway.

Previously, we saw the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4 appear as part of the pack. Now we can get a first look at the Air Jordan 1 ‘Cinnabar’. The sneaker combines premium leather with a sophisticated colour mix of Sail, Light Bone and Cinnabar.

The base of the upper colours white, making the Cinnabar accents stand out more. This colour can be found on the Swoosh, the outsole and also on the Wings logo. Even the laces contain a gradient of red, making the design even more unique.

Another eye-catching detail is the blue label on the tongue, which adds a fresh touch to the design. The Sail midsole rounds it all off and provides a neat, cohesive look.

Last thing that makes this release even more special is the attention to detail that is characteristic of the ‘Rare Air’ pack. The AJ 1 High OG ‘Cinnabar’ comes with the updated ‘Nike Air’ branding on the medial side, which is a subtle reference to the brand's heritage.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air ‘Cinnabar’ is expected to start dropping in April 2025 in women's sizes at Nike and selected retailers.
