Even before we see the Crocs Juniper sneaker appear, American designer Salehe Bembury shows off his next silhouette: the Crocs Saru Clog. Bembury is known for his unique "earthy" designs, think Pollex Clog. The Saru Clog takes inspiration from the design of its predecessor and drops at Crocs on March 21, 2024.
Salehe Bembury is a well-known name in sneaker culture. After several successful collaborations with New Balance, think of the New Balance 2002R 'Water Be The Guide' and 990v2 MADE in USA 'Peach'. In the past, the designer has worked with names such as Kanye West and Donatella Versace. In 2021, the designer got his own silhouette at Crocs: the Pollex Clog.
The Pollex Clog has appeared in several colorways since its debut. The unique design takes its inspiration from natural elements, something that is characteristic of Bembury's work. Now we see the next silhouette: the Saru Clog. The model shares the same outsole as the Pollex Clog, but comes with the familiar upper of the Classic Crocs model.
The Saru Clog appears in three natural shades: beige, terracotta and moss green. The model is a slip-on and therefore has no strap on the heel. The outsole is reminiscent of a fingerprint and uses dynamic grooves.
The Crocs Saru Clog drops at Crocs on March 21, 2024. Check out the first images of the design below. Should you want to read more articles like this one, check out the Sneakerjagers news page. Should you prefer to check out the Crocs collection, click here.
