After the successful release of the JJJJound x adidas Samba 'Off White' and 'Black,' we can now look forward tto another drop by JJJJound and adidas. This time, the adidas Samba arrives in a 'Mesa' colorway. In addition to the sneaker, the two brands are also coming out with an accompanying capsule collection, starring soccer legend José Mourinho. The collection will drop on 27 June 2024 at adidas and selected retailers.
Inspired by adidas' sporting heritage and driven by a commitment to authentic storytelling, the second JJJJound x adidas collection is based on soccer aesthetics with a capsule collection consisting of apparel, accessories, and sneakers.
The first collab with adidas consisted of two colorways of the Samba model. The 'Black' and 'Off White' appeared at various retailers in March 2024. After several weeks of patience, the third colorway finally appears; 'Mesa'. The sneaker colors brown from head to toe and features a suede upper.
The apparel collection includes a black track jacket, matching pants, a nylon bag, a sporty Three Stripes jersey, and a co-branded soccer. A perfect reflection of JJJJound's work, the collection uses clean, modern, and sleek designs. The items feature the logos of both brands.
The campaign featuring José Mourinho was captured by photographer Liam MacRae against a backdrop of everyday Portuguese life. The campaign pays tribute to the age-old legacy of Samba in sport and culture.
