American skateboarder Ishod Wair is once again teaming up with Nike. The two names have collaborated in the past and came up with the hybrid silhouette, the Nike SB Ishod Wair. Now we see a second model arriving, called the Nike SB Ishod 2. The sneaker is available from January 19, 2024, in two colorways. A third colorway is expected in 2024.
Ishod Wair and Nike are a golden duo when it comes to collabs. The skater first collaborated with the sneaker brand in 2016, designing several colorways of the Nike SB Dunk, a beloved model among skaters. The collaboration was a success and was soon followed up. In 2021, Wair got his own silhouette. This year, this silhouette gets a second variant.
The Nike SB Ishod 2 has a sporty and modern silhouette. The model takes inspiration from Nike's Air Max models and comes with a visible Air unit in the midsole. The upper combines mesh, leather, and suede materials. Dynamic overlays are placed across the silhouette.
The sole comes with a fish bone pattern that provides grip. The off-colored sole under the Air unit seems to take inspiration from the Nike Air 180, a sneaker that will reappear after a long time in 2024. Nike branding appears throughout the silhouette. 'WAIR' is placed on the lace panel, hinting at the collaboration.
The sneaker arrives in three colorways: the 'Obsidian' and the 'Varsity Red'. The sneakers are available from Nike and retailers from January 19, 2024. You can find an overview of where to buy the kicks in this article.
