In 2023, Nigo, producer and founder of BAPE, announced that he would be working with Nike. Several releases have already been teased in recent months, including the Air Force 3 Low in the OG 'Escape' colorway. Now we see the first images of Nigo's own release: 'Blue Void'.
The first rumors of a possible collaboration between Nike and Nigo were confirmed earlier this year. During Paris Fashion Week 2024, the designer showed the Air Force 3 Low in a well-known colorway: the 'Escape,' which appeared on the Air Force 3 High in 1988.
It is not known if the Air Force 3 Low 'Escape' would be a creation of Nigo, but the next colorway, the 'Blue Void,' seems to be. The sneaker features a striking colorway that combines the colors pink, yellow, red, blue, and green.
'Nigo Force' is placed on the heel, where 'Air Force' normally appears. In addition to the impressive sneakers, the shoebox also has a bold message. On the lid is the slogan 'You Can't Put Nigo In A Box'. The quote is a tribute to Nigo's diverse influences, which span music, film, and fashion.
The Nigo x Nike Air Force 3 Low 'Blue Void' does not yet have an official release date. However, we can expect the sneaker in the fall of 2024. Check out the first images from the collab below and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates.
