Futura x Nike SB Dunk Low 'Bleached Aqua'

The iconic graffiti works of Futura are back on a Nike SB silhouette. The collaboration began in 2003, and over 20 years later, in 2023, the first images of an SB Dunk Low in a blue colorway were unveiled. Not long after, we got a glimpse of a second colorway.

Now in April 2024, the official images have surfaced of the Futura x Nike SB Dunk Low in blue, set to drop on May 22nd, 2024.

Leonard Hilton McGurr, aka Futura, is a well-known graffiti artist from the '70s, mainly active on New York streets. His abstract style made him stand out from other artists of the time. In 2003, he teamed up with Nike SB for the first time.

The base of the blue version is quite subdued compared to the second colorway. The first one features a white mesh base with blue and pink accents, while the other one has a completely reddish upper. The overlays boast a dynamic design typical of Futura's style. Additionally, the artist's signature can be found on the tongue and heel.

The first pair features a blue translucent sole and a dark blue Swoosh. For the second colorway, they opted for a light orange sole and Swoosh. However, it seems that this second version will only be available to friends and family. In any case, Nike and Futura have confirmed that the blue version will drop on May 22nd, 2024.
