In their third collaboration, Eastside Golf and Jordan Brand introduced the Air Jordan 6 Low Golf 'Malachite'. This unique partnership pays homage to the trailblazing non-white golfers in the PGA Tour, commemorating the significant year when the PGA Tour lifted the ban on non-white players in 1961.
Their previous collaborations with Jordan Brand have explored different themes, with this release focusing on a pivotal moment in golf history. The shoe itself features a black nubuck upper with white leather overlays, accented by gold details reminiscent of the Eastside Golf logo's gold chain.
Green accents are found on the tongue overlay, PU midsole, and semi-translucent outsole, which bears the words 'Change' and '1961' as a tribute to the ban's removal. This golf-meets-basketball collaboration is presented in a special co-branded shoe box, uniting the two worlds of sports.
