The Air Jordan 1 Low saga continues. After Travis Scott's successful collabs on the silhouette, the Air Jordan 1 Low became a favorite among many. After several general releases, we now see the next colorway appear. This time in collaboration with Howard University from Washington.
The partnership between Howard University and Nike began two years ago and celebrates sports and culture. Over the past two years, Howard's athletes have proudly worn the sneakers and the public is also getting a chance to get their hands on them.
The Air Jordan 1 Low 'Howard University' uses the school's colors: navy blue, off-white, and red. Like the first collaboration, an Air Jordan 6, this Air Jordan 1 Low comes with an image of the Howard Bison on the sole as a tribute to the university mascot.
Classic Nike branding appears on the tongue, heel, and toe cap. The Swoosh on the center panel has been given a navy blue color, as has the Wing logo on the heel.
