Out now: the Air Jordan 6 Retro 'Olympic'

Especially for the Olympics, which kicked off last weekend, Nike brings back the Air Jordan 6 Retro 'Olympics'. The sneaker combines white, blue, and red, the U.S. team's colors. The pair will drop at Nike and select retailers on August 3, 2024.

Nike is packing big during this year's Olympics. After the release of the Nike Air Max 1 'Olympic,' the 'Safari' series appeared, which uses the well-known safari motif. Also, the Air 180 'Concord' will make its comeback during the tournament, as will the Air Jordan 6 Retro 'Olympic'.

The Air Jordan 6 in the colorway 'Olympic' debuted in 2000 during the Olympics in Sydney, Australia. The sneaker used the colors of the U.S. team, a blue upper with white overlays and red details. In 2012, sneakers made their comeback and now, twelve years later, we can expect to see the pair again.

The sneaker remains similar to its predecessors. The upper is made of sturdy leather. Reinforcing materials are placed on the heel to provide extra grip. The enlarged tongue is blue. A tab is placed on the heel, which makes the pair easy to put on. The lacetoggle on the tongue is red.

The Air Jordan 6 Retro 'Olympic' drops at select retailers on August 3, 2024. The sneaker drops in full family sizing. Check out the rest of the releases linked to the Olympics in the Sneakerjagers release calendar.
