thisisneverthat teams up with Converse again
Korean streetwear label thisisneverthat will release a new collaboration with Converse on 26 November 2024, focusing on the One Star. Since its inception in 2010, thisisneverthat has gained international acclaim through unique collabs with well-known brands such as New Balance, Crocs and, of course, Converse.
This is not the first time the two brands have joined forces; their collaboration began in 2021 with modified versions of the Chuck 70 and the One Star. A minimalist design was chosen for this new colorway of the One Star that stays true to the OG look, but with a matte finish on both the upper and sole. This design showcases the simplicity of the 90s, a style the label is known for.
The design features a canvas upper punctuated by a suede collar and a single black stripe that accentuates the predominantly green and white colour palette. The result is a trainer that is both nostalgic and timeless, with a ‘what you see is what you get’ look that ties in nicely with the casual and raw aesthetic of Nineties streetwear.
On 2 November 2024, the thisisneverthat x Converse One Star Pro in the colour ‘Trekking Green’ was released at thisisneverthat. We can look forward to a wider release on 26 November 2024 at Converse and selected retailers. Just click on the sneaker for an overview of all shops, sizes and infos.
