The Nike Clogposite is making its comeback after more than 20 years. The unique slide from the 2000s will appear in several colorways, including 'Chrome', 'Black', 'Cream', and 'Bright Cactus'. Two of them, the 'Chrome' and 'Cream,' will appear at various retailers on August 20, 2024. Check it out here.
The Nike Clogposite takes inspiration from the Air Flightposite, a sequel to the Air Foamposite One introduced in 1997. The Air Foamposite One was part of an experimental project led by Eric Avar and the Advanced Product Engineering group. Avar wanted to create a sneaker that embraced your foot as if it had been put in a liquid bath.
The sneaker was one of a kind. Not much later, after the release of the Air Foamposite One and Air Flightposite, the sneakers got a slip-on variant; the Clogposite. In the year 2024, slides and mules seem to be bigger than ever. Therefore, the comeback of the Nike Clogposite is a tactical move by Nike.
The slide takes inspiration from the Air Flightposite and uses technologies from the Air Foamposite. The design has a streamlined look and uses metallic details on the upper.
The Nike Clogposite 'Chrome' and 'Cream' are dropping on August 20, 2024. Check out the first official below and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates.
