The recent collaboration between Hartcopy and Reebok is now available exclusively at Footpatrol. The duo comes with two silhouettes; the Trinity Premier and the Club C Velcro. With this collaboration, Hartcopy pays tribute to the printing press, an element central to its work.
Hartcopy x Reebok
In 2020, Timothy Suen launched Hartcopy (@hartcopy), an online catalog of the latest sneaker trends, releases, and collaborations. What started as a corona project grew into a well-known brand that earlier this year angled into a collaboration with adidas. Building on that success, Hartcopy is now joining forces with Reebok.
The duo is releasing two silhouettes; the Trinity Premier and Club C Velcro. The Reebok Trinity Premier appears in a black-and-gray colorway that pays tribute to physical printing. The sneaker comes with inky details that reference the dirty back of a printing press. Silver, metallic details hint at the machines.
The tongue features the Hartcopy logo, as well as 'RBK,' which is mirrored on one foot, referencing offset and lithography-based printing processes. This asymmetry is echoed on the toebox, where subtle differences can be seen between the left and right feet.
The Club C Velcro represents a more streamlined, refined and finished product. Unlike the other silhouette, the Club C Velcro has a slightly more understated design, with no asymmetry. Important details on the sneaker are the CMYK 'registration marks' formed from custom Reebok Classics 'sunburst' details.
