A new colour of the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner will be released soon. The shoes were already spotted in March 2020 during a fashion show by Dingyun Zhang for the Fall 2020 Collection. Now, an expected release date has been announced for the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner 'Mineral Blue': they will release in May 2021.

During his fashion shows, Dingyun Zhang combines his clothes with different Yeezy shoes. The chunky Yeezy models go well with Dingyun Zhang's oversized outfits. Similarly, in March 2020, for the exhibition of the fall collection, different Yeezy models were used. Notable during the show, was the Foam Runner which appeared in new colours. One of those colours, was the dark blue 'Mineral Blue', this colorway can be seen under the orange outfit.

Since the initial release of this Yeezy slipper, a number of different colorways have been released. In May 2021, this dark blue 'Mineral Blue' colour will join the model. As you can see in the picture below, the model will again be released in different sizes for young and old.
Opinions on this distinctive footwear shell are very divided. Some think the Foam Runner looks dynamic and otherworldly. Others cannot take the design seriously and compare it to the equally controversial Crocs' slippers. That the Foam Runner will stand out under your outfit is one thing that is certain.
Yeezy Foam Runner
Yeezy doesn't seem to care about the negative opinions and keeps releasing new colours. Last week, on 26 March, the Foam Runner's were released in the 'MXT Moon Grey' and 'Sand' colorway. These slippers sold out in no time. The resell prices are also sky high, with pairs listed at a few hundred euros on StockX.
