Ready for the city as well as nature: Crocs Juniper ‘Taro’ by Salehe Bembury

The collaboration between Salehe Bembury and Crocs continues to surprise us time and again, and the latest release, the Crocs Juniper ‘Taro’, is another perfect example. Set to release in November 2024, this striking colurway promises to be another unique collab.

Since their first collaboration in 2021, when they released the Pollex Clog, Bembury and Crocs have shown nothing but fat designs. Bembury, who has previously worked for brands such as Versace and Yeezy, is a master at combining style and functionality. He has given Crocs a new look that focuses on creative design and maximum comfort.

The Juniper ‘Taro’ is a clear example of this. The shoe has an upper that immediately grabs attention, with teal green as the dominant colour and purple accents adorning the collar and the TPU element in the middle of the shoe. This retro-inspired colour scheme is reminiscent of the Nike ACG designs from the 1990s.

The gum rubber sole with Bembury's signature 3D fingerprint pattern completes the design while ensuring you have grip wherever you are. Whether you're walking around town or taking a hike, the ‘Taro’ is ready for it.

The Crocs Juniper ‘Taro’ will be available from 14 November 2024 via Salehe Bembury's website and from 20 November via selected retailers. For anyone looking for a trainer that is both functional and eye-catching, this is definitely a release you don't want to miss.
