That is the Elissa Steamer's Gnarhunters x Nike SB Dunk Low
Skate legend and Nike SB athlete Elissa Steamer is one of the most famous female skateboarders. For over twenty years, young girls who also want to skateboard have looked up to her. In 2019, she and Nike released the Gnarhunters x Nike SB Blazer Mid. In 2022, the duo returns with a brand new Gnarhunters x Nike SB Dunk Low.
The first images of the SB Dunk show the same colour scheme as the 2019 Blazer Mid. The upper is a simple black. Despite the simple colour scheme, Steamer has provided a lot of unusual materials.
The base of the upper is made of terry cloth in black. This fabric can be seen on the toebox, side and heel. The overlays are made of twill, which is a lot smoother than the terry material. The tongue and heeltab are also made of twill and the Swoosh is made of velcro.
The laces have an easy lacing system, making it quick to tighten the shoe. The insole also hints at Elissa's passion for surfing. There is a snorkel on the right sole and 'Fun Screen' on the left, representing sunscreen. The midsole of the pair is in black and the outsole is in white. The Gnarhunters branding can be found on the tongue and on the heel tab.
