Shai Gilgeous-Alexander receives his own Converse Weapon colorway
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the NBA star who finished second in MVP voting last season, has expanded his collaboration with Converse. After being the face of the Converse Weapon campaign and announcing his own signature sneaker for 2025, a new colorway of the Converse Weapon is now on the way.
The latest colorway, in pink and white, is set to drop on 27 August 2024. This sneaker features a white leather upper with metallic pink accents on the side panels and branding. The pink panels have a cracked leather effect for a vintage look, which is further enhanced by the off-white tongue.
Gilgeous-Alexander, who signed with Converse in 2020, has recently renewed his contract and is now the Creative Director of Converse Basketball. This role allows him to showcase innovative designs, starting with this retro-inspired Converse Weapon.
The Shai Gilgeous-Alexander x Converse Weapon 'White/Pink' will be available from 27 August 2024 at Converse and select retailers.
