Converse and Sky High Farm continue their collaboration with a new pack, dear community. Their first joint project was launched in summer 2022: a Chuck 70 in black with Sky High Farm graphics on the sides. This was followed by several colour variations of the silhouette. Now, in July 2024, they will present a Chuck 70 and a One Star Pro, both with uppers made from recycled workwear.
In this article you will find all information about the release:
Sky High Farm
Sky High Farm was founded in 2011 by artist Dan Colen. This New York-based non-profit organisation focuses on food security and nutrition. They sustainably grow fruits and vegetables and raise livestock, then offer this fresh and healthy food to needy communities.
To support their causes and raise money, they partner with brands and artists, including Converse. Get to know more about their mission by watching the video below!
The Sky High Farm x Converse Chuck 70 & One Star Pro
It is therefore perfectly in line with Sky High Farm's mission that they have teamed up with Converse to achieve another milestone by designing sneakers with an upper made of recycled work trousers and overalls.
As the Chuck 70 and One Star Pro are made from reused workwear, each pair is unique. As with the previous collaborations, we see the strawberry and banana, characteristic of Sky High Farm, on the base and insoles. In addition, both sneakers are finished with white laces and a white midsole.
Finally, we see a special detail on the laces: purple stars that complete the look of the kicks.
