Converse and DRKSHDW, a sublabel of designer Rick Owens, are releasing two colorways of the DRKSTAR Chuck 70 Hi silhouette. The 'Blonde' and 'Concrete' colorways will drop on June 11, 2024, at various retailers. See the full list of all retailers here.
American designer Rick Owens is an all too familiar name in the world of fashion and sneakers. Owens' designs can be recognized out of thousands. The garments almost always use the color black as a base and are often oversized. In 2008, he founded DRKSHDW, a sub-label of his own brand Rick Owens.
In the past, Owens has collaborated on footwear for Dr. Martens and Birkenstock. Now he is expanding his collaboration with Converse. The DRKSHDW x Converse DRKSTAR Chuck 70 Hi pack consists of two colorways; Blonde' and 'Concrete'.
The sneakers have a striking, oversized look. The upper of the sneaker is canvas and has a used look. Like previous Converse releases, the model comes with an enlarged tongue. The platform sole completes the design.
