In February 2024, the JJJJound x New Balance 2002R GORE-TEX pack dropped at New Balance and selected retailers. Now you get a second chance to buy the styles: on 29 February 2024 at 10am the two colorways will be available once again at New Balance!
The two brands have collaborated several times in the past, with the release of the New Balance UK 991 'Grey' earlier in 2023. Design studio JJJJound was founded in Montreal in 2006 as a 'digital mood board'. The studio focused on exploring modern and timeless designs and then went on to design them itself. In recent years, JJJJound has collaborated with brands such as Reebok, ASICS, Vans and so has New Balance.
The JJJJound x New Balance 2002R will be dropping in two colorways: 'Pine' and 'Charcoal'. Unlike the earlier 'Storm Blue' collab, these designs use the weather-resistant GORE-TEX material. Both pairs feature a mesh upper in black, but are distinguished by the colour overlays. The 'Pine' colorway comes with green stiff leather overlays, while the JJJJound x 2002R GORE-TEX 'Charcoal' version features light grey.
The centre panel features the N logo. On the heel, the 2002R logo appears. The black sole and outdoor laces complete the designs.
The JJJJound x New Balance 2002R GORE-TEX in 'Charcoal' and 'Pine' are set to get another restock on February 29, 2024. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for the latest updates in the sneaker scene.
