On 6 May 2023, the Air Jordan 2 Retro 'Cement Grey' will be released at various retailers. The 'Cement Grey' will appear in many sizes. You can cop the sneaker for adults, as well as primary school students (GS), preschoolers (PS) and toddlers (TD). Read more info on the silhouette here.
We have seen the successor to the famous Air Jordan 1 return in OG colourways like the OG 'Chicago' and in new colourways like the 'Lucky Green'. Now, on 6 May, we will be introduced to the new grey colorway 'Cement Grey'.
The new Air Jordan 2 has a minimalist and clean look. You can see the ' Cement Grey' element recurring on various details such as on the Air Jordan logo on the tongue. Besides the recurring elements of grey, the sneaker also uses off-white. The off-white color creates a vintage and aged look.
Despite the exterior silhouette using the nondescript colors of white and grey, the insoles bring a real pop of colour. The insoles seem to be inspired by one of Michael Jordan's most famous photos. In the picture, the basketball player strikes the jumpman pose while you can see a sunset skyline in the background. The recently released Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Skyline' also takes its inspiration from this iconic photo.
