Squid Game is back! As fans count down to the second season on 26 December 2024, Netflix is packing big with several collabs. Earlier, we already saw the Squid Game x Crocs Classic Clog appear and now the streaming service has announced a collaboration with PUMA. The upcoming Squid Game collection gives three silhouettes a real Squid Game makeover, packed with recognisable details from the series.
The PUMA Easy Rider is without a doubt my favourite. The green and red colour scheme immediately brings to mind the participants‘ recognisable tracksuits and the guards’ red outfits. The green and red colour scheme splashes off the shoe, while a pendant of Young-hee, the terrifying robot from ‘Red Light, Green Light’, gives a nod to one of the series' most exciting moments!
Then we have the Palermo, which takes a more subtle approach with a fresh mix of white and orange. The colourful insole, inspired by the marble game scene from season 1, completes the look.
Finally, the pack will include the PUMA Suede, a design that goes all-in with colour and texture. Inspired by the surreal steps from episode 5, this design combines pink suede, blue nubuck and yellow accents.
The collection includes not only sneakers, but also clothing such as tracksuits, hoodies and even bags. Everything you need to be totally Squid Game-style ready for the new season.
Put 12 December 2024 in your calendar, because the entire collection will drop at PUMA and selected retailers then.
