Nike SB Dunk Low 'Court Purple' | BQ6817-500
The colorway is very similar to Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Court Purple' that dropped in fall 2018. But not everything is similar, as in the AJ1, the toe box was completely purple in color, while the toe box for the SB Dunk Low has been given a white color.
The overlays found on the white upper consist mainly of a black color. In addition, the back includes a combination of purple and black. Underneath the tri-color upper runs a white midsole with a rubber purple outsole underneath to complete the sneaker.

SB Dunk or Nike Dunk
Besides the Nike SB Dunk, you also have the regular Dunk silhouette if course, but what exactly is the difference between the two? Is there any difference at all? And yes, there definitely are! The biggest difference is the tongue. In the Nike Dunk, the tongue is slim and made of mesh, while the SB Dunk's tongue is reinforced to provide more cushioning and protection. Because it is thicker, it also helps with the fit.
Another obvious difference is the laces. The Nike Dunk features flat laces. Flat laces will not survive the tricks and movements of skaters, so for the SB Dunk they opted for rounder, puffy laces that are resistant to scrapes and much less likely to wear out or tear.
As seen in the images above, both an SB Dunk Low and a Dunk Low variant of the 'Court Purple' colorway have been released. In addition to the aforementioned differences in design, there are also distinct variations in the colorway.
One notable difference is the use of the color black instead of purple on the overlays on the forefoot, eyestay and collar of the SB Dunk. The purple laces and Swooshes have also been replaced with black here. Last, the Nike SB logo takes the place of the Nike logo on the tongue tag and insoles.
