In early 2021, the first images of Nike's newest Dunk colorway were leaked. The Nike Dunk Low 'Lemon Drop' attracts attention, due to its cheerful and detailed design. Nike Dunk Low 'Lemon Drop'
The design of the Nike Dunk Low 'Lemon Drop' is inspired by the lemon. The yellow colour of the lemon peel, is incorporated on the Nike logo on the tongue and the swooshes. The Nike logo's on the heel, the laces and the label on the inside are a lighter yellow colour.
The logo on the heel shines beautifully in the light through the patent leather material. The base of the shoe is made of white leather, which gives the shoe a fresh look. For the overlays, a warm beige colour was chosen. Finally, the midsole is made white and the bottom consists of a semi-transparent gum rubber outsole.

Nike took the look of the new Dunk a step further than most designs. There are many different materials used on the sneaker. First of all, the middle panels and toebox are made of tumbled and perforated leather. The yellow Nike Swoosh is not only given the colour of lemon peel, but also has the same ribbed texture. Furthermore, you can see white stitching at the tongue, which gives a playful effect. Finally, the embroidered lemon motif on the side of the heel is not to be missed.

The Dutch shop Asphaltgold has a special promotion when you buy the sneakers. With every order you will receive an exclusive scarf. This scarf is inspired by the 'Lemon Drop' design and has a retro look. On the yellow scarf you can see lemons with golden chains. A nice detail is that the Asphaltgold logo is also attached to this chain.

Nike is coming out with a fruity colourway for a new design on the Dunk: the Nike WMNS Dunk Low 'Lemon Drop'. The first photos of these fresh Dunks promise a lot and we can also tell you the release date already. The lemon inspired colorway fits perfectly with the sunny summer vibes we're craving right now and the special Dunk is once again quite something!
Dunk WMNS Low 'Lemon Drop': The Design
The Nike WMNS Dunk Low 'Lemon Drop' has yellow lemon inspired accents. What immediately stands out is the bright yellow colour of the Swoosh's and the structure of its material, which resembles a citrus peel. In addition, the Nike logos on the tongue, inside and heel have a brighter yellow colour.
The logo on the heel has a shiny effect in the light due to the patent leather material used here. The embroidered lemon on the side of the heel shows the sour side again and makes the theme clear once and for all.
A warm beige tone was chosen for the overlays of the model, which goes well with the suede material. The base of the shoe is made of white leather, which gives the shoe a fresh look. In addition, the tongue has been given a woven texture, which is a nice and, above all, unique detail in the design.
Finally, the sole is also white and the underside is made of a semi-transparent rubber outsole.
When does the Lemon Drop?

Nike Dunk Lemon Drop Release Information
2021 is the year of the Dunk. Of the big spring-summer drops coming up, this Lemon Dunk Low is an early taste. The kicks come right on time for summer. On 24 April 2021 at 09:00 you can get your hands on a pair, while stocks last. Save the date and don't forget to set your reminder.
Colorway
The silhouette of this citrus colourway features a lemon drop, opti yellow, sail and zitron colour scheme on the mixed leather upper.
Texture and Details
The middle panels and toebox are made from tumbled and perforated leather. Smooth beige zitron overlays find their way to the ankle, lacing system and toebox. The suede Nike Swoosh and tongue feature the striking Opti Yellow colour. In addition to the colour, the Swoosh is also notable for its lemon skin texture.
A lemon motif is embroidered at the heel and yellow patent leather can be seen on the heel cap. Other details include the mesh tongue, white midsole, and semi-translucent rubber outsole. The chosen colours and textures give the basketball shoe an extra clean look.
