ASICS joins forces with Kicki Yang Zhang, an artist from Berlin. The first collab uses the GEL-NYC silhouette that is currently wildly popular. The sneaker will arrive on September 26, 2024 in two colorways: 'Pink' and 'Black'.

Kicki Yang Zhang is best described as an all-rounder. The Berlin-based artist is known for her drawings, modeling, fashion content, and Instagram projects. Now she is taking a step into the world of sneakers with her first project with ASICS.

In collaboration with the Japanese sneaker label, Kicki Yang Zhang unveils two colorways of the GEL-NYC silhouette. The colorways, named 'Black' and 'Pink,' feature contrasting color schemes that are clearly displayed in the accompanying campaign.

The ASICS Gel-NYC 'Pink' features a fresh colorway. The upper is made of sturdy mesh. Placed across the design are pink and silver overlays that contrast nicely with the white and off-white base. The pink outsole gives the sneaker a playful twist and completes the silhouette.

The 'Black' colorway features an all-black upper. The upper is again made of sturdy mesh, with shiny patent leather overlays across the silhouette. Silver details on the tongue, toe cap and heel complete the pair.
