Musician Jae Tips is expanding his collaboration with Saucony. The duo have been working together since 2023 and have released several, colorful sneakers in the past. In 2024, we can expect two colorways of the Saucony Matrix; 'Burgundy' and 'Blue Pink'.
Jae Tips is a well-known face at Saucony. In 2023, the artist unveiled his first sneaker collab with the American brand: the Jae Tips x Saucony Grid Azura 2000 'Remember Who Fronted'. Shortly after, the duo released the Saucony Grid Shadow 2 'What's The Occasion,' followed by a Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 release.
During Paris Fashion Week that took place last week, Jae Tips was spotted in two colorways of a previously unused silhouette; the Saucony Matrix. The sneaker appeared in a burgundy and a pink and blue colorway. Like his previous collabs, these two sneakers use a lot of color.
The Saucony Matrix has a dynamic design. The upper combines the materials suede and mesh. Rough elements are placed on the center panel that gives the sneaker texture and dimension. Both colorways use silver details on the center panel. As with previous collections, the logo of Savior, Tips' own label, is featured.
