The year 2024 was an eventful one for Nigel Sylvester. The BMX rider released his own silhouette with Nike, the Air Jordan 4RM. The sneaker was an alteration of the Air Jordan 4. Now, we’re seeing an actual Air Jordan 4 appear, much to the delight of many. The sneaker comes in a vibrant red colorway.
Nigel Sylvester is a well-known name in the world of sneakers. After the success of several collaborations with Nike in 2018, Sylvester received his own silhouette this year. The Air Jordan 4RM (short for “remodeled”) debuted in a green colorway in July 2024.
Not long after, various general releases of the silhouette followed, along with a few additional colorways from Sylvester. However, the silhouette didn’t perform as well as Nike might have hoped, leading to Sylvester receiving a classic Air Jordan 4 - and we couldn’t be more excited.
The sneaker comes in an all-red colorway with a yellowed midsole. It features classic Air Jordan 4 details, such as the wings on the mid-panel and the coarse mesh on the instep. The iconic Jumpman logo is placed on the tongue.
In an Instagram post, Sylvester shared the 'Bike Air' logo attached to the heel. The release date for the sneaker is not yet known, but we can expect the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 to drop in 2025.
