The year 2023 marks the 30th anniversary of BAPE and the 20th anniversary of the collaboration between the Japanese brand and adidas. To celebrate this milestone, the two names are releasing the Forum 84 Low silhouette in two colorways. The 'Blue Camo' and 'Green Camo' will be releasing at adidas on May 19, 2023.
BAPE and adidas are no strangers to each other. The two names are celebrating their 20-year collaboration in 2023 and doing so with the Forum Low 84. The Japanese streetwear brand, founded by Nigo (Tomoaki Nagao) in Ura-Harajuku in 2023, is known for their ABC Camo print and are bringing back this motif in the upcoming collaboration.
The adidas Forum Low 84 has a retro look. Originally designed for the sport of basketball, this sneaker features a leather upper. Both of these colorways, 'Blue Camo' and 'Green Camo', share the ABC Camo print. Branding from both brands features on the tongue and heel.
The 'Green Camo' comes with gold details. A gold emblem with the number 30 is on the lace panel, inting at the 30th anniversary of BAPE. The sneaker comes with a strap at the ankles, and the three stripes on the mid-panel.
The 'Blue Camo' has the same look as the 'Green Camo', but combines different shades of blue. The gold details are replaced with silver.
The BAPE x adidas Forum Low 84 'Blue Camo' and 'Green Camo' will release on Saturday, May 19, 2023, at exactly 10:00 AM at adidas. Check out the official images below and don't miss the release.
