A detailed look at the Nike Air Max 1 'Tropical Twist'
Nike has chosen to revive the iconic 'Dusty Cactus' colorway from 1993. The colorway was originally applied to the Air Max 93 and will now be seen on an Air Max 1. Additional shades of purple have been added to the palette for the 2023 design.
White mesh forms the base of the upper, with a nubuck black mudguard and light gray leather overlays. A turquoise hue is applied to the side Swoosh, tongue labels and collar lining. In addition, Tinker Hatfield's design is a small nod to 2004. With subtle purple accents that characterized the Women's Air Max 90 Essential.
