Travis Scott dropped his Nike Jumpman Jack 'Sail' during Grammy's Night
Travis Scott dropped his own Nike Jumpman Jack sneaker at the Grammys on Feb. 4, 2024. The sneaker is the first self-designed model by the Houston-based rapper. The highly anticipated Travis Scott x Nike Jumpman Jack in the colorway 'Sail' was supposed to release in the summer of 2024, but received a shock drop on Scott's own website this weekend following his nomination for the Grammys.
Travis Scott Grammys 2024
On Feb. 4, 2024, the Grammys took place in Los Angeles. The Grammys are the most well-known and important awards you can win as a musician. Killer Mike was the big winner of the evening, taking home no less than three Grammys, including the one for 'Best Rap Album of the year' with his album 'MICHAEL'. However, the rapper could not really enjoy his awards won, after he was carried off by police for pushing over a photographer.
Travis Scott was also nominated for 'Best Rap Album of the year' with his album 'UTOPIA,' but missed out. Especially for his nomination, the artist dropped the Nike Jumpman Jack 'Sail' via his own website (shop.travisscott.com). The sneaker was announced via the Instagram @cactusjack with an accompanying video.
The new Jordan Jumpman Jack TR 'Sail' from Travis Scott sold out within seconds if the comments below the video are to be believed. Despite Travis not taking home any Grammys this edition, he was on stage performing the songs "MY EYES," "I KNOW?" and "FE!N," along with Playboi Carti.
In case you, like many others, missed the Travis Scott x Nike Jumpman Jack 'Sail' shock drop, keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates surrounding the release. The sneaker will most likely drop at Nike and various retailers in the summer of 2024.

The design highlights Scott's personal design philosophy, pulling influence from traditional Swoosh forms while forging its own character. The famous backward Swoosh is supplemented with a new branded strap, a Black base, White leather overlays, and a Gum rubber outsole softly labeled with "Jack”.
